December 17, 2014 (Pos/Neg, Line, Space, Shape/Texture)

Positive/ Negative:

Positive is the space of the object, while negative is the space in the background. The white is the negative space, while the color is the positive space.

Line:

There are three types of lines: Actual Lines, Imaginary Lines, and Invisible Lines. I mostly used a variety of wavy lines to draw this flower.

Space:

Space is the illusion of drawing distance. Objects that look larger are closer to the front and give the illusion of distance. I used space to make it look like the man, the rainbow fish, and the man in a wheelchair are closer than other objects.

Shape/Texture:

Shape is the way that objects are organized on a page, texture is the way textures or patterns are manipulated and applied to to other areas. I used shape to place the objects around the page, I changed the texture on multiple objects making it look unusual.

Radial/Original

I liked what the other person changed on the radial picture. I liked the way they made the focal point near the top and not directly in the center, I also liked the way it doesn't take up the whole picture; however, I think that it could have been better blended so it didn't just look like it was just laying flat on top of the picture.

Asymmetrical/Original

I really liked the way the other person changed this to make it asymmetrical. I liked the way the effect was transparent, I also liked the subtle gradient, and the paint looking filter.

Symmetrical/Original

I am not sure that I really like this version of symmetrical, because they took out the dotted line, which I kinda liked, it looks weird, I liked the target and you can't see it now.
